ABOUT

I am a designer and creative strategist specializing in politics in Washington, D.C.

I believe the key to effective political design is having a strong political strategy and then finding the creative opportunities within it.

After college, before studying design, I spent several years working as a theater electrician and lighting designer. That time was spent dancing the line between an artistic vision and the laws of physics. Today I approach creative problem solving with an artist's reference and a technician's pragmatism. That means recognizing limitations, maximizing resources, and executing the best ideas. 

When not designing, I play in a band and celebrate fall year-round.
